2020 PRIMARY ELECTION
The Minnesota primary election will determine which candidates will be included on the November general election ballot. Let's use our vote to elect leaders who care about Laborers and our priorities!
Primary Election Day is Tuesday, August 11.

PRIORITIESEverything we do, including our politics, is to help working people and our families get ahead. Our core priorities include:
- Creating family-supporting jobs: We work with our Union signatory contractors, the government and communities to make sure building projects help all of us thrive.
- Upholding strong industry standards: LIUNA is dedicated to the highest quality of training and completed work, and that goes hand-in-hand with why we have registered apprenticeship training programs, along with strong negotiations for contracts and good wages. The standards in our industry depend on a whole ecosystem of all these elements.
- Advancing workers’ freedom to prosper: Our first two priorities are impossible if working people can’t come together (collectively bargain) and have a united voice for fair work and protection on the job.
